I'm really excited to let you know about my book, BIRDS OF A FEATHER: A TRUE STORY OF HOPE AND THE HEALING POWER OF ANIMALS, which was released from St. Martin's Press on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018.
It's about the two important parts of my life, advocating for parrots and veterans both suffering from trauma, coming together in the form of Serenity Park. I wanted this place to be a Sanctuary for wounded warriors and wounded parrots so they could find a path of healing together.
